PPPTR rebuilds Volvo I-Shift transmissions for AT2612D, ATO2612D, AT2612F and ATO2612F applications. Every component is inspected. Reusable components are retained only when they pass inspection in excellent condition; defective components are replaced.

What is included in our rebuild

  • All bearings replaced with new bearings.
  • Rear cover replaced, with shim adjustment.
  • New oil pump.
  • Upper cover, valves and pneumatic system rebuilt.
  • Bronze bushings in the shift mechanism replaced.
  • New oil filter and new transmission oil.
  • Post-rebuild diagnostics and testing.

Two ways to exchange your transmission

Option 1 — Receive your rebuilt transmission first: Pay $6,700 plus a $3,000 core deposit ($9,700 before shipping and applicable tax). Return your old transmission to PPPTR within 10 days of receiving the rebuilt transmission. The core must be received by PPPTR within that period. If it is not received within 10 days, the $3,000 core deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded.

For a core received on time, the deposit is refunded after inspection and acceptance. Damage-related deductions or additional charges are discussed with you after inspection.

Option 2 — Send or bring your core first: Deliver your old transmission to PPPTR for inspection. Once the core is accepted, exchange it for a rebuilt transmission for $6,700, without an upfront core deposit. Any damage-related extra charges are confirmed before the exchange.
